Our mission has been going pretty well.. even though a tank caught on fire, i burried my bradly in a mud pit, and a tank dumped over 200 gallons of fuel on the ground (i know.. i know, i'm sorry sarah). It's a good thing the same one that dumped fuel wasn't the one that had the electrical fire ;)

As far as my bradly.. absolutely unbelievable. I'll just post pictures of the event later.

My team consists of one to two BRDM's (HMMWVs with visual mods) and 2 BMP (Bradleys). Our task is to attack and destroy all enemy units in the target area. They consist of three to four M1A1 Abrams tanks. Granted, the overall mission is to train the lieutenants in mounted warfare, it is more of a trial by fire. They have a superior force and are defending.. they should win every time regardless. Unfortunatly, over confidence and assumption are younger officer's friends.. and don't help him much in this exercise. It's a tough lesson we teach them, but they understand it more as the exercise continues. It's isn't the technology, equipment, or training that makes us the best. It's unwaivering will power. It's spirit. We teach them how to reach deep down and muster up the ability to keep going. To press on, regardless of personal risk. To sacrafice yourself for the whole. That's how you win..
